A dozen inset upholstered panels are fit into the oversize headboard of this custom platform bed. The customer's clean modern house dictated a minimal design with a dark modern finish. The three footstools were designed to match and upholstered in the same fabric as the bedspread. The footstools also take the place of a footboard and help balance the design.
